Amit Kochhar, MD

Dr. Amit Kochhar is a double board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon based in Los Angeles. He trained at two of the country’s most respected academic medical centers in the United States and has performed more than 1,000 facial surgical procedures across the full spectrum of facial plastic surgery — from rhinoplasty and facelift to complex cancer reconstruction and facial paralysis reanimation.  Dr. Kochhar is one of only a handful of surgeons in Southern California performing microvascular free-flap reconstruction for facial paralysis — a technically demanding procedure typically reserved for academic medical centers. He has published over 30 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, and has been quoted as an expert source in outlets including People, Parade, and PopSugar.  His practice is built on one philosophy: that every patient deserves a surgeon who listens as carefully as he operates.
